In 2007, global corporate law firm Mayer Brown tasted flexible space in their London office with Dorma movable walls, and wanted more. Not just more; they wanted BETTER.
In 2019, Mayer Brown, along with MCM Architecture and contractors Overbury, worked with Style Partitions again for the newest and best in flexible space technology for their “event spaces”.
With offices and over 1500 employees spread across four continents, the event spaces needed the ability to be quickly reconfigured to hold small to large meetings, presentations and events. As a leading and trusted law firm, these spaces also needed to be acoustically superior and private. For this reason, three Skyfold Classic™ 60 walls were selected.
An STC 60 (Rw 59) ensures that events and activities can run concurrently and undisturbed when the space is divided. To complement the interior design’s cool grey tones, a Kvadart canvas fabric was chosen for each wall. Two DORMA Variflex movable walls were also combined with the Skyfold walls to incorporate glass passthrough doors for added natural light and easier room accessibility.
Since the flexible space upgrades, the Mayer Brown London staff is enjoying the improved privacy and the ease-of-use when operating their new Skyfold walls.
