Skyfold warrants that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years or five thousand (5,000) cycles, whichever occurs first, from the date of shipment.
Replacement parts are warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of shipment or the balance of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.
Skyfold warrants that the acoustical performance of the Skyfold wall will be unaffected for a period of ten (10) years or five thousand (5,000) cycles, whichever occurs first, from the date of shipment.
All servicing and inspections must be performed by an authorized Skyfold dealer.

The 1000 square meter (over 10,700 sq.ft.) Grand Ballroom at Rosewood Hong Kong embodies opulence and versatility. With a maximum capacity of 800 people, the pillarless ballroom is a luxurious and flexible venue designed for a variety of occasions, featuring carved limestone and fumed oak wood veneer paneling.
Capable of dividing the grand ballroom in to 2 smaller rooms, a Skyfold wall is invisibly tucked away in the spacious ceiling. The Skyfold wall has a beautiful wood veneer finish that perfectly matches the surrounding ballroom walls.
Rosewood’s Skyfold wall is more than just an acoustic room divider—it’s a showpiece. Positioned as a unique selling feature for the hotel, the vertical motion of Skyfold allows clients and event planners to create a sense of mystery and impact when revealing a surprise hidden on the other side of the wall.

Cost Savings:
Support Steel
Traditional operable walls require up to 7 times more support steel than Skyfold. The weight of Skyfold walls are always evenly distributed along the support steel, there is no live load deflection that needs to be accommodated.
Time
Skyfold walls move at a speed of 5-10 vertical feet per minute, which means that large spaces can still be reconfigured within minutes with no lengthy set-up time.
Maintenance
With the Skyfold walls being fully automatic, there are less parts being man-handled or moved, thereby reducing overall maintenance costs.
No Tracks
Skyfold’s Classic, Zenith, and Zenith Premium models don’t require wall or floor tracks. The walls simply require a flat surface to seal against. The room's design integrity is never compromised, as there is no indication that there is an operable wall in the room when it’s tucked away.

End Seals
Seals are an integral part of our Classic, Zenith, and Zenith Premium models and are visible when the wall is in the up or down position. They are made of flexible PVC and are available in black or white.
These seals deploy automatically once the walls are fully in the down position. They contribute to the wall’s acoustics and there is no sound or light leakage once they are deployed.
White Seals not available on the Zenith 48 model.
Round Bezel Brushed Stainless Steel
LED Lights
When the Skyfold wall is tucked away in the ceiling, the lights can be turned on and add extra light to a larger room.
LED lights are on the floor panels only*, so that they are seen in the ceiling when the wall is fully retracted into the ceiling. The LED lights are available in warm white or neutral white and have a choice of 2 bezel shapes. LED lights are available on all models except Mirage.
*The Zenith Premium can have lights on the floor panels as well as on the horizontal ceiling panels.
Finishes
Skyfold walls are available in a wide variety of finishes including fabric, vinyl, plastic laminate, markerboard, paint, murals, stainless steel, recycled leather, and wood veneer that can be mixed and matched to suit the client’s design needs.
Only acoustically transparent fabrics can be applied to an NRC panel.
Zenith 48 available in standard fabric, vinyl, paint, and markerboard only.
Safety Pressure Sensor
When the operable wall is lowered and the bottom edge comes into firm contact with any object between itself and the floor, the system will automatically stop.
The wall will then automatically reverse its direction and ascend for approximately 3 seconds to clear the object. The regular operation of the wall can resume once the obstruction has been removed.
Acoustics
When deployed, Skyfold provides a double rigid wall and acoustic barrier with acoustic ratings of up to STC 60 (RW 59) for sound isolation, and an NRC/SAC of up to 0.65 for noise reduction.
The standard Skyfold Classic, Zenith, and Zenith Premium operable walls have two independent planes of steel panels separated by a 7″ (170mm) dead air space, creating an anechoic chamber for the best sound isolation.
Quiet Operation
Skyfold’s system has a completely silent operation allowing spaces to be reconfigured with no disruption of its surroundings. With the operable partitions quietly unfolding from the ceiling, a banquet hall could be created without disturbing a conference going on right next door.
Touchscreens / Key Switch
The Touchscreen Operator comes standard on the Zenith Premium model and is available as an upgrade to the key switch on all other models.
A four-digit passcode needs to be entered on one of the touchpads and, like the key switch, both touchpads need to be pressed for the wall to begin motion.
The Touchscreen Operator can be programmed in multiple languages and has the capability to control and dim the LED lights on your Skyfold wall.
